Telecommunication Systems

Mare Electronics establishes telecommunication systems on railways that are necessary for the
railway network of the countries and will be compatible with future infrastructure investments. A
communication system is established throughout the railway, whose infrastructure will be used for
the all railway communication, and a communication network is established to communicate the
railway organization, vehicles and maintenance personnel. These communication network
systems are systems in which fiber optic cable and / or radio communication systems are used
jointly.

This communication infrastructure, SDH and DWDM technology are used in systems that provide
data and voice transmission. According to the railway operator's preference and infrastructure perspective, EN 50159-1 or EN 50159-2 railway safety standards are applied.

In ERTMS applications, the GSM-R (Global System for Mobile Communications- Railway) infrastructure is set up to operate at a speed of 500 km / h. Data and voice communication is provided over this network established along the railway line.
